Hi, I'm Abubakar Waqas. I've spent almost 8 years building technology for real businesses, working across real estate, fintech, and construction. I've worked as a lead backend developer on large platforms — including payment systems used by banks — and I've led teams that build AI automation, voice AI agents, and custom software from scratch. I'm based in Lahore, Pakistan.
At JDL Ventures and The Growth Collective, I lead the tech and AI side of things. I work on the automation and AI systems that help the team run smoother day to day, and I focus on building tools that take manual work off people's plates so they can spend time on what actually matters.
