I'm Douglas J. Beck, the founder and CEO of JDL Ventures, the institutional capital platform I started in 2014 from a single wholesale desk in New Jersey. Over twelve years I've grown it into a nine-figure private-market operation that sits in the middle of capital and operators — sourcing off-market deals, structuring the raise, and matching the right money to the right sponsor.
Based in Sarasota, Florida, I lead the firm's capital-raising strategy and long-term vision, from the Charleston fund to the family-office relationships that underwrite it. I'm the connective thread across the entire JDL ecosystem — JDL Ventures, The Growth Collective, JDLDeals, and InvestorLoan.
My focus today is simple: earn on the flow, build a team that runs without me, and give operators an unfair advantage with capital, systems, and AI.
What drives me most is watching operators do their first real deal with capital and systems they never had access to before.
